Event
A personal guide will pick you up at the restaurant on Trockenen Steg (3,000 metres above sea level), the meeting point, and take you to the husky area. He/she will take care of you during the one-and-a-half-hour event. The musher and guide will tell you exciting things about the dogs.
Afterwards, you can pet the dogs to get to know each other. Then each person can take turns to enjoy one to two trips around the circuit. The musher steers a sled, with a maximum of two adults in each sled. Children must be accompanied by an adult. If there are enough bookings (max. 12 people) for each booking time and good weather conditions, two sleds can travel around the circuit at the same time. The duration of the trip depends on the snow conditions on the route and the energy of the animals, and on average takes 8 minutes.
Breaks
During the breaks you will receive Biscuit and hot tea.
Photos
You can take pictures, while we will also take pictures of you. The photos are free of charge. After the event, you will receive all the photos from us, unedited to your email address with the free data transfer WeTransfer (After the files have been uploaded, the recipient will receive an email with a link to WeTransfer, from where they can download the files. Please note that the files are stored by WeTransfer only for seven days. After this period, it is no longer possible to download the content).

- All prices include VAT.
- Children up to and with 11 years receive a reduction of CHF 35.00 on the price. The date of birth is the deciding factor for the reduction. For this purpose, an official identity document stating the date of birth is required.
- The ticket for the Cablecar to Trockener Steg retour is not included. Online booking of the ticket.
- Two days before the Husky event, we will send a briefing (text message) via WhatsApp. Please install WhatsApp on your mobile phone – Thank you!
- Only persons for who have a booking confirmation can take part in the event and be led to the husky place.
Event
The event lasts a total of one and a half hours, including the hike. On the circuit, a sledge pulled by 8 to 10 huskies travels with a passenger. Children under 12 years of age may ride on the sledge together with an adult.
Meeting point
A husky guide will be waiting for you at the restaurant Trockener Steg. Please be on time! He/she will lead you to the huskies.
Hike to the circuit
The easy hike to the Husky Circuit takes 10 minutes downhill and 15 minutes uphill. One way is 950 metres long and there are 80 metres of ascent and descent.
Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. We recommend that you have accident insurance and travel cancellation insurance.

The event will take place below the Trockener Steg in the Matterhorn glacier paradise – Schwarzsee ski area. The meeting point is at the Restaurant Trockener Steg.

Recommended Clothing
You will need clothing suitable for the high mountains:
- Skiwear or winter clothing: scarf & various layers
- Hiking boots (ankle high) so that the ankle is protected. (can be rented at the sports shop)
- Winter hat (non-skiers get a helmet on site)
- Warm gloves
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
Skiers can bring their hiking boots in a small backpack or in a bag. At the meeting point, they can change and deposit their shoes. Ski boots are not suitable for sledding.
Restrictions
- Participation in the event is only open to children who are at least seven years old.
- Pregnant women require written permission from a doctor
- Persons over 100 kg only on request
