Husky experiences
in front of the Matterhorn
Husky Zermatt is organised by the event agency zermatt-event management GmbH. In November 2012 a film shooting with huskies in front of the Matterhorn was shot. Since then, several rides with the husky sled have been organised for corporate clients on the Little Matterhorn and on Trockener Steg.
From winter 2019 we have extended the service for individuals and families. The enthusiasm was so great that we are now adding our guests the new offer: a hike with “your” husky, starting Dec. 2020.
Have fun with the Husky experience in front of the Matterhorn.

A Musher with experience
My name is Charlotte (31 years old). I have the chance to live from my passion, the sled dogs. And that already for 16 years. The Huskies and Malamutes are not secret for me anymore. My dogs and me go together in the same direction, hand in paw. We speak the same language. I love to present my dogs, to go for a ride with guests, to explain our adventures and to share my knowledge is always a great pleasure for me. I speak French and have a good level in English, German and Portuguese.
With Mastok, Digger and all their Nordic friends, I look forward to share with you a memorable experience.

A Musher with experience
Born and raised in California, dogs have always been a part of my life. After studying medieval languages at UC Berkeley (Old Icelandic, runes, Old Irish and Middle Welsh), I came back to Switzerland (land of my great grandparents) to study music. I became a concert violinist and then went on to gain my Master of Floristry.
25 years ago I then bought my first Husky. It was a long standing wish after many loyal canine companions. Of course I was then immediately infected with the Husky virus. It all started so innocently. One dog became a small team. Scootering turned into sledding. Booties and dog hair everywhere!
Today I have Sibirian Huskies and Yakutian Laikas, a relatively unknown breed from central Siberia. The individual personalities of the dogs are fascinating. Every dog is completely different and they teach you a lot about yourself. Mushing has become a central part of my life. The dogs and their rhythm dictate my daily routine. It is pure teamwork.
I love giving people a window into this amazing world, a taste of this ancient, primordial tradition.
